Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan shared a cryptic tweet the day after Team India won their first match of the T20I series against the West Indies. After losing the first two games, the Men in Blue put forth a stunning batting performance especially with Suryakumar Yadav returning to form and scoring a crucial 83. While Tilak Varma continued his stellar form and put in a stunning 49-run unbeaten knock.

But reacting to this batting performance, many on social media felt, being the captain, Hardik Pandya should have taken responsibility and promoted himself up the order to rescue the team from a difficult position. Hence when Irfan Pathan tweeted, "Mushkil kaam aap karo, Asaan kaam mein Kar leta hoo. Suna suna Sa lagta hai… (You do the tough task, I'll do the easy work. I've heard this before…), speculation raised whether Pathan was taking aim at the Indian captain.
