Naveen-ul-Haq got into limelight for all the wrong reasons as the Afghan cricketer was involved into a verbal fight with former RCB skipper and star Indian batter Virat Kohli. The fight has been the talk of the town since then and just days after the scuffle the Afghan cricketer’s photograph with Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has taken the internet by storm.

Post the CSK vs LSG match on Wednesday, May 3, LSG took to Twitter to post the meet-up with one of the legends of the game. “Everyone loves a post-match meeting with the GOAT,” LSG captioned the post.

It has drawn mixed reactions from across as a few Virat Kohli fans bombarded the youngster with hate since the incident, while a few others now consider him to be “gathering sympathy” by being respectful to the other Indian legend MS Dhoni. Twitter flooded with reactions, drawing comparisons on how the same player is with the two legends.

During the LSG vs RCB match, Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli were the center of attention as when Naveen was batting, he was involved in an incident with Mohammad Siraj and Kohli, with his teammate Amit Mishra stepping in when Kohli got going. Post RCB’s 18-run win over LSG, the fight continued during the handshake. This time coach Gautam Gambhir joined in to defend his players. However, there is no certainty on who instigated the fight in this match but it certainly has heated things up in IPL 2023.

Talking about the LSG vs CSK match, the game was called off with rain playing a spoilsport. After winning the toss, CSK invited LSG to bat first and in the 19.2 overs played during the match, the Lucknow-based franchise posted 125/7, courtesy Ayush Badoni fifty off 30 balls. With a No Result in that game, both teams settled with a point each.
