Los Angeles Lakers continued their struggle to find a win at road games in the NBA 2022-23 regular season as Phoenix Suns defeated the Purple and Gold side by 10 points on Tuesday night. During the match, Patrick Beverley shoved Suns center Deandre Ayton and got ejected while the NBA has now made their decision on the Lakers guard's misconduct.

Mikal Bridges and Devin Booker combined for 50 points to beat Los Angeles Lakers 115-105 at the Footprint Center while Anthony Davis registered 37 points, 21 rebounds, five blocks and five steals in his team's loss.

In the fourth quarter of the Tuesday's game, Lakers guard Austin Reaves went down on the ground after Devin Booker's flagrant 1 foul and Suns center Deandre Ayton joined his teammate and stood over Reaves, which infuriated Patrick Beverley. The 34-year-old guard went on to shove Ayton from behind and got  ejected from the game with  3:55 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Recently, NBA  Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations,  Joe Dumars   announced Beverley's suspension for next three games without pay and stated, " Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley has been suspended three games without pay for forcefully shoving Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton from behind and knocking him to the court. The suspension was based in part on Beverley’s history of unsportsmanlike acts. "

After the Tuesday night game, Suns guard Devin Booker said, " Pat needs to stop pushing people in the back, man. Push them in the chest. That’s all I have to say. "

Patrick Beverley will miss Lakers' road games against San Antonio Spurs on Friday and Saturday night while the guard will miss Monday night home game against Indiana Pacers.
