After completing three seasons with Brooklyn Nets, star player Kevin Durant has requested to get traded this off-season. Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns have the best chances to enroll the forward for the 2022-23 season as the two are his preferred teams.

Both Heat and Suns had lost their conference finals in the last season and will be looking to enhance their rooster by inducting the Olympic gold medalist. After leading the US to gold at the Tokyo Olympics, KD has averaged 29.9 points per game in 55 games last season.

The 12-time NBA All-Star, Durant's decision to move out has led the teams to put the best offers. According to reports, Golden State Warriors have also shown interest in signing the two-time NBA champ. However, the deal seems 'highly unlikely', according to Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic.

Thompson wrote, “According to multiple sources in the Warriors organization, a reunion is highly unlikely. Nothing about the last three years suggests the Warriors would be willing to pay the price for a KD return.”

KD's teammate Kyrie Irving has also generated a little trade news as Los Angeles Lakers are looking to pair him again with LeBron James. However, Nets haven't shown any interest in Lakers' offers for the superstar guard. Last year, Kyrie has missed more than half of the season as he refused to take the vaccination against COVID-19.
