David Beckham, one of the most iconic footballers of all time, is set to have a documentary series named “Beckham,” released by Netflix on October 4. The four-part documentary series is going to focus on the unseen, unheard and unfiltered story of the 48-year-old, who turned the footballing world upside down at the turn of the century.
From the very beginning of his career at Manchester United in 1991 to his last year as a professional footballer at Paris Saint-Germain in 2013, David Beckham made 523 club appearances, scoring 97 goals, but most importantly, achieved everything that an athlete dreams of, in his illustrious career. He also played for a few years at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, while getting loaned out to Preston North End and AC Milan during his time.

In his 115 appearances for England, spanning from 1996 to 2009, David Beckham scored 17 times for his country, which includes goals in three consecutive FIFA World Cup campaigns. He is currently the part owner and President of Inter Miami, a football club from Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States of America.
On September 19, David Beckham took to his official Instagram account to release the first trailer of his documentary series on Netflix. His post read, “Ten years since I retired from playing football I’m proud to share the first trailer for BECKHAM, my Netflix documentary series. I’m so grateful to @fisherstevens for his partnership over the past two years to bring this project to life. Many hours of conversations, many stories I’ve never told and many people from my life and career sharing their memories. I can’t wait for you all to see it. Streaming 4th October on @Netflix #BECKHAM”.
The wife of David Beckham, the English television personality Victoria Beckham also shared her excitement about the special moment for her husband on Twitter.
Her tweet read, “I’m so proud of you @DavidBeckham and everything you’ve achieved.. I can’t wait for you all to see BECKHAM on @Netflix from October 4!! Xx”.
