Neymar is set to own a team in the next edition of the King's League after he ‘kidnapped’ Gerard Piqué, th co-founder of the tournament , hours before the final. The experimental football league has broken the internet with its insane rules and rapid pace. The tournament has countless footballing stars like Sergio Aguero and  Iker Casillas. 


In the video shared by Neymar, He demanded to own and oversee a team in the competition which Piqué is also planning on taking to Brazil. The Paris Saint Germain star ‘released’ the Pique after agreeing to his demand. Now Neymar becomes the second owner of a Kings League team after Brazilian legend Ronaldinho also confirmed his participation in the tournament.

Going back to the King's League, the tournament played out its final at a full-packed Spotify Camp Nou this Sunday. Barcelona’s home stadium had 90,000 people with four teams - El Barrio, Saiyans FC, Aniquiladores FC and Los Troncos FC competed in the Final Four.


Before the start of the football action, King’s League had NFL-like entertainment events which included a rap battle and performances by top stars like Tiago PZK and Lali. Then further at the Grand Finale, Piqué was joined by former teammates like David Villa, Kun Agüero and Ronaldinho. Similarly, Barcelona president Joan Laporta also made an appearance.


Talking about Camp Nou hosting Kings League final, Pique was emotional and described the experience as historic. He said, “There’s nothing like seeing Camp Nou full. We are, for me, in the best stadium in the world. There’s nothing like a historic night at Camp Nou."
