The political tussle between Russia-Ukraine turned military invasion has been grabbing many headlines globally. Most of the voices have been requesting the Russian regime to stop the massacre in Ukraine. Russian Tennis player Andrey Rublev has joined the league and pleaded to its regime to stop the war by writing "No War Please" on a TV camera moments after advancing to the finals at the Dubai Championship on Friday.

In their semifinal match, the seventh-seeded Rublev defeated Poland's Hubert Hurkacz 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (5) before writing his message on the camera. At the mixed doubles match, Rublev was one of the gold medalists with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at the 2020 Summer Olympics. His act grabbed a lot of attention from netizens, and the Tennis star was applauded by many for his humanitarian act.

Earlier, the 24-year-old Rublev had reportedly explained his stance in an interview. While responding to the importance of a semi-final match, he said, "In these moments, you realise that my match is not important. What's happening is much more terrible."

He expressed his agreement with many by saying that the top priority should be respecting each other and letting peace prevail in the world. "We should take care of our earth and each other. This is the most important thing at the moment," he concluded. However, apart from Rublev, many sportsmen have expressed their stance on an ongoing military tussle between both countries.
