On the other hand, Pat Cummins’ Australia are coming into this knockout game on the back of seven consecutive wins, after losing a game against India and South Africa. But in the last match where Australia played South Africa at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow in the ODI World Cup, the Proteas Men got the better of the five-time champions.
However, these two sides have confirmed their place in the 2025 Champions Trophy, the two top sides will go all roaring for the final spot, where the winner will take on India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19. Meanwhile, the match might be a big one of the cards, but as per the listing of Accuweather, the weather looks dicey with massive cloud cover.
With overcast conditions all throughout the day, the temperature is likely to hover between 25-28 degree Celsius. However, there are around 25 per cent chances of precipitation, the cloud cover is likely to be around 93-100 per cent all throughout the day, as reported by the Accuweather.
It is to be noted that if the match sees some rain interruption or delay in start, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has also added a reserve day. So, if weather plays a spoilsport on the scheduled day, the match between South Africa and Australia will be moved to the next day, that is Friday, 17 th November.
