American athlete and three-time Olympic medallist Tori Bowes passed away at age of 32. One of the management agency who handles track and field athletes across the world, took to Twitter and released a statement saying, "We’re devastated to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away. We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister. Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family and friends." The World Athletics also took to social to confirm the demise of the young athlete.

The cause of death of the Olympic sprinter is not yet known. If the reports from TMZ are to be believed, she was found dead in Florida on Tuesday. Born and raised in Mississippi, Bowie enjoyed playing basketball before discovering her talent in sprinting and athletics. But it was proved that she has a real talent after she won state titles in the 100m, 200m and long jump.

Along with teammates Tianna Bartoletta, Allyson Felix, English Gardner, and heat runner Morolake Akinosun, Bowie ran the anchor leg for the United States team that took home the gold in the women's 4x100m relay final at Rio de Janeiro. Bowie was second behind Jamaica's Elaine Thompson in the 100-meter race in Rio before winning the global championships in London a year later. She later won the bronze medal in the 2015 Beijing World Championships in the 100m event.
