Young Australian all-rounder Cameron Green is celebrating his 26th birthday on June 3, 2025. He has been a talented player who started in his international career at the age of 21 years. He hasn’t played many matches for Australia in international cricket. Apart from that, he has played in the Indian Premier League and Big Bash League, plying his trade for different franchises like Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Perth Scorchers.
Cameron Green made his international debut in an ODI match against India in Canberra on December 2, 2020. After a few days, he went on to make his Test debut in a day-night match against India in Adelaide on December 17, 2020. In these matches, Green has amassed 1377 runs from 28 Test, 626 runs from as many ODIs and 263 runs from 13 T20Is. Apart from that, he ended up taking 67 wickets with the ball in three formats combined.
Talking about his career in the franchise cricket, Cameron Green has played 29 matches in the IPL in 2023 and 2024, amassing 707 runs at an average of 41.58 and a strike rate of 153.69 including a hundred and two fifties and also took 16 wickets with the ball. Apart from that, he also scored 106 runs from 13 matches in his BBL career.
Cameron Green was also a part of the Australian cricket team that won the ODI World Cup in 2023. He only played three matches in that edition, amassing 63 runs with 47 being his highest score in a group stage game against England in Ahmedabad.
