Royal Challengers Bengaluru are taking on Punjab Kings in the final of IPL 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Batting first after losing the toss, RCB posted 190 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. The match is taking place at the largest stadium in the world with a capacity of over 120,000 spectators. Now, as the two teams are locking horns for their first IPL title, the fans also came in large numbers to support their favourite teams.

As per the latest developments, around 90879 people were present at the stadium to enjoy the final of IPL 2025 between RCB and PBKS. However, the number may have gone near 100000 as the match progressed. Talking about the match, in reply to RCB’s 190 runs, PBKS also got a flying start as Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh added 43 runs for the first wicket in five overs before Phil Salt took an spectacular catch to end to Arya’s innings.

Ahead of the big final, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and asked RCB to bat first. RCB lost their first wicket in the form of Phil Salt (16 off 9) in the second over of the innings. In the seventh over, Yuzvendra Chahal struck for PBKS as Mayank Agarwal departed after scoring 24(18) runs. Skipper Rajat Patidar also got a great start but couldn’t get more than 26 runs in 16 balls as RCB were reduced to 96/3 in 10.5 overs. After a few overs, Virat Kohli also got out after scoring 43 runs off 35 balls, hitting three boundaries.

After Kohli’s dismissal, Jitesh Sharma and Liam Livingstone took the innings further as Jitesh scored a quickfire 24(10) runs while Livingstone got out after scoring 25(15) runs. However, RCB couldn’t get much runs in death overs and were reduced to 190/9 after the end of their 20 overs.
