Pacific Premier League Final: Team Mahendra Club beat Team Pacific Organic by 7 wickets to lift title

After restricting Team Pacific to a below-par total, Mahendra Club batters showed great determination to chase down the target in 18.2 overs.

After 12 days of non-stop cricketing action, the inaugural edition of the Pacific Premier League was brought to an end with Team Mahendra Club crowned as the winners. They defeated Team Pacific Organic by seven wickets in the summit clash to lift their first-ever trophy.

Throughout the tournament, Team Mahendra Club put on neat performances to outclass their opposition. They did the same on the big day as well. After being asked to bowl first, TMC bowlers bowled tight lines to keep Team Pacific batters on their toes. As a result, Team Pacific could only get to 128/8 in their 20 overs.

Sachin Yadav led the charge with the ball as he picked two wickets in his three overs. He conceded more than 12 runs per over though. Dhruv Parmar and Rohit Suthar did a magnificent job to concede only 33 runs and pick two wickets in their eight overs together.

Manoj Tyagi and Tanmay Tiwari win it for TMC

After restricting Team Pacific to a below-par total, Mahendra Club batters showed great determination to chase down the target in 18.2 overs. Manoj Tyagi and Tanmay Tiwari starred with the bat for TMC. While Tyagi got out after scoring a half-century (51 off 56), Tanmay stayed till the end and finished the game for his team. The swashbuckling batter played a blistering inning of 41 off 22 studded with six boundaries and a six.

Team Pacific bowlers tried to make the chase tough for TMC as Devnarayan Ved bowled an economical spell. Ved conceded 19 runs in his four overs and also picked the wicket of Sachin Yadav. Hitesh Pakhrot and Pradhyumn Parakh also picked a wicket each.
