Pacific Premier League: Trully India, USA Global and Gold Sports 11 emerge victorious on Day 7

It was a cricket-packed day at the Pacific Sports Complex in Udaipur.

Three more matches were played in the Pacific Premier League on Friday. These games were all staged at the: Pacific Sports Complex, Karanpur with Team Trully India taking on Team Mahendra Club, Team USA Global up against Team Central Public School and Team Gold Sports 11 locking horns with Team Marvellous-Sojatia in back to back matches.

In the first match of the day, it was Team Mahendra Club who won the toss and invited Trully India to bat first. The Trully India batters put on a competitive 148/6 in their 20 overs with Molik Patidar scoring 51 off 35 deliveries. Nishant Sharma (41 from 30) was also impressive. Among the Mahendra Club bowlers, Pravar Bhardwaj (2/33) had the best figures.

However, Mahendra Club faltered their run chase and could only muster 117/9 in their 20 overs despite a valiant 26 off 17 from Himanshu Patidar. Manish Kumar Sharma was the best bowler for Trully India as he finished with figures of 3/20 in his 4 overs and helped his team win the match by 31 runs.

In the second game, USA Global chose to bat first and put on 180/4 in their 20 overs. Yuvraj Singh continued his great form in the tournament and scored 62 from 41 balls. Along with him, Shehzan Zaid 43 (32) and 30 (18) also played impactful innings. In an ordinary bowling effort by Team Central Public School, Aarish Khan (1/21) and Rajat Chapperwal (1/26) still managed to leave an impact.

In the run chase, Team Central Public School did manage to come close with the help of Chapperwal's 60 off 38 and Yashwant Dangi's 52 but they fell 8-runs short, managing 172/6 in their 20 overs. Mohammad Zeeshan (2/21) had the best bowling figures for the winning team.

In the final fixture of the day in the league, Team Gold Sports 11 won the toss and chose to bat first. Their batters did make the most of the decision and piled on a mountain of runs, eventually finishing with 213/4 in their 20 overs. Mohit Jain and Yash Chhajer both scored 70 respectively in 39 and 47 balls respectively.

Underscore board pressure, Team Marvellous-Sojatia collapsed and were bowled out for 124 in 16.2 overs. Mahijeet Singh Chauhan top-scored for the chasing side with 52. Chitresh Choudhary had an evening to remember with the ball, finishing with 4/11 in just 2.2 overs.
