Pakistan cricket team managed to qualify for the finals of the Asia Cup 2022 on the back of a few noteworthy performances from its players. While many players stepped up on the occasion to clinch games for Men in Green, Naseem Shah's back-to-back sixes in the last over against Afghanistan will be remembered for years to come.

Pakistan needed 11-runs off the last six deliveries of the match with just one wicket in hand. While Afghanistan bowlers were on a roll on an eventful day, Naseem Shah arrived with a plan to turn the game on its head and won it for the Men in Green.

It was Afghan pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi who was given the responsibility to defend 11-runs off the last over, but Naseem Shah smashed him for two consecutive maximums sealing one of the most thrilling victory for Pakistan in the shortest format of the game. As Pakistan secured their final berth, Naseem Shah was rested from the Sri Lanka game on Friday.

While Pakistan had a tough time in the middle, the young pacer seemed to be enjoying his time at the boundary rope. In a video that is doing the round on social media, Naseem can be surprisingly seen collecting mobile phones from the crowd and putting them in his pocket.

Reports claimed that Naseem returned the mobile phones to the spectators. However, the video since then has gone viral on the internet and netizens seem amused and wondering why Naseem is collecting phones from the crowd.

Speaking of Naseem Shah, the 19-year-old Pakistan pacer has picked six wickets in the tournament and emerged as a prominent player for Men in Green. Babar Azam-led side dealt with a major blow ahead of the tournament in the form of Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was ruled out of the tournament after failing to recover from a knee injury, found a match-winner in the form of Naseem Shah.

Notably, Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in the summit clash of the Asia Cup 2022 on September 11 (Sunday) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
