It won’t be naive to say that Pakistan has one of the best fast bowling line-up in the world. The Men in Green proved it at the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2022. In the summit clash of the tournament, Pakistan bowlers made a match out of nothing to give Pakistan a chance to lift their second T20 WC title. They troubled a batting-heavy side like England by bowling in the right areas.

Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah were on a roll that day. While Afridi and Rauf got wickets to showcase against their name, Shah could not scalp any. But that doesn’t justify his bowling on that particular day. He was close to bagging a wicket on many occasions. The right-arm quick has proved his mettle against the best in the world and his younger brother is well on course of doing the same.

Naseem’s brother, Hunain Shah is also a fast bowler who is currently playing domestic cricket. Hunain also bowls right-arm pace and has a similar sort of action as Naseem. And the younger Shah also surprises batters like his elder brother. An example of this was seen in a video from a domestic game where Hunain dismissed a batter by bowling a brutal short delivery.

Pitched on a good length, the ball rises from nowhere and hits the batter on his wrist before getting grabbed by the gully fielder. The batter also looks in pain while walking back. Meanwhile, the bowler is chuffed to bits after bagging his first wicket in FC cricket.

Hunain did not have a very good overall outing though, as he conceded 76 runs in the 18 overs he bowled and bagged the only wicket of Bilawal Iqbal.
