In a big update, it has been reported that Pakistan will host four matches of the 50-over edition of the Asia Cup 2023. To add more to this, nine games, including the battle between the arch-rivals, India and Pakistan will take place in Sri Lanka.
As reported by several media outlets, it is being said that India vs Pakistan clash will take place at the Pallekele Stadium in Sri Lanka, whereas the four matches in Pakistan will take place in Lahore. A senior PTI journalist also updated on this development, with the official announcement yet awaited by the ACC and other cricket boards.
“It seems Pakistan will get 4 Asia Cup matches in Lahore with nine games including Indo-Pak games in Sri Lanka”, the journalist’s tweet read.
It also had that with this, the Pakistan national team will travel to India for the ODI World Cup, scheduled to take place later this year.
