After a massive setback to the Indian contingent on Wednesday with Vinesh Phogat being disqualified after failing to match the weight, India will hope to get some good results as Neeraj Chopra as well as the men’s hockey team takes the field on Thursday, August 8.
As the Games near the final few days, India will aim to add more medal to their tally. Seeing this, on Day 13 of the Paris 2024, the Harmanpreet Singh-led men’s hockey team will eye to overcome their semifinal defeat and settle for a bronze, whereas Neeraj Chopra will aim to defend his gold and become first Indian individual athlete to win back-to-back gold medals at Summer Games.
