India’s gold medal prospect and the defending world and Olympic champion in men’s javelin throw, Neeraj Chopra will return to action on Tuesday, August 6. Reckoned as the ‘Golden Boy’ of India, Chopra will be seen in action at the Paris Olympics where he will aim to etch history as he eyes to defend his Olympic gold at the Stade de France.

The 26-year-old javelin thrower enters the Summer Games on the back of a gold medal win at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland. The Indian athlete has competed in just three events so far this year and will aim to etch history and become the first Indian to win two gold medals in an individual event at the quadrennial Games.
