Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya stitched up a magical partnership to help India cruise past England and win the ODI series at Old Trafford, Manchester. Chasing a total of 260, the Men in Blue were reduced to 72-4, when the duo of Pant and Pandya batted incredibly well to seal the win.

After the match, during the post-match presentation as Rohit Sharma was handed over the winner’s trophy, the Indian team broke into riotous festivities as a couple of players popped open the champagne and sprayed it all over their captain.

After being drenched in champagne Rohit Sharma was laughing and then got annoyed as he even told his teammates: “Photo toh le lo yar (Guys, at least pose for the photo)”. As the team lifted the trophy, the celebrations restarted as the players continued, including Virat Kohli who got his hands on a bottle.

Before these celebrations, Rohit Sharma praised his team for incredible performance to win in such difficult situations. He said, “Very pleased. Came here, wanted to achieve something as a group in white ball. We were here last time and were beaten, I remember that. Not an easy place to come and win games. It was a good pitch, but we do understand it's not going to be easy if we lose wickets upfront.”

“Positive side of it, these guys haven't batted much in the middle overs. Today we got to see that with Hardik and Rishabh. At no point, we felt they were panicking. They backed themselves and played cricketing shots,” he continued.
