Delhi Royals have registered a comfortable win over Gujarat Samp Army by 43 runs in the Legend 90 League Eliminator match at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. Giving the target of 161 runs, Gujarat Army's inning was summed up for 117 in 12.3 overs. The player of the day was Bipul Sharma, who had bowled a fantastic spell against Dubai Giants of 5/21, helped Delhi win with the batting skills. His 44* in just 17 balls with three sixes and five boundaries, was quite impressive, ensuring that his team reached 160/6 total in their alloted 15 overs.
After a dismal start, Delhi Royals found themselves in danger with low runs on the scoreboard. Their top order crumbled, with Lendl Simmons, Sharad Lumba, and Danushka Gunathilaka all going back early to the pavilion. However, captain Bipul Sharma had other plans and he smashed the opposition bowlers at will. His quickfire effort, combined with Anureet Singh's useful 16 not out off 9 balls, helped Delhi Royals reach a competitive score.

After registering a promising score along with Ross Taylor (40), Bipul Sharma helped the team to advance to Qualifier 2. On the bowling side, Delhi Royals' bowlers stood up when it counted the most. Chasing a tough total, Gujarat Samp Army got off to a good start with Chandrapaul Hemraj's scoring a quick 25 from 11 balls.
However, as the middle order collapsed at regular intervals, Gujarat lost its momentum. Jerome Taylor led a strong bowling attack with three wickets, while Parvinder Awana and Anureet Singh took two wickets each to ensure Gujarat's batting collapse.
