Lee Cattermole

Lee Cattermole is a former football player who made his name playing for Sunderland. He began his career back in 2005 with Middlesbrough, where he made 69 appearances and scored three goals. In 2008, he moved to Wigan Athletic before joining Sunderland in 2009. During his time at Sunderland, Cattermole has become an integral part of the team and has made as many as 233 appearances for the club. Cattermole is known for his tough tackling style and leadership qualities, which made him become one of the most respected players in English football. He has also been capped by England at Under-21 level and was part of their squad that won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2009.

As one of the most aggressive players in the history of the Premier League, he received 7 red cards during his career in the competition, which certainly makes him one of the least-favorite players among match officials. That being said, Lee was still deemed as one of the most valuable players for his teams and coaches simply loved him for that.
