Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant made an assertive statement after registering a massive six-wicket victory over the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After bowling first, Delhi managed to bundle out the Titans at a score of 89 which Pant and Co. chased down in just 8.5 overs.
The Capitals saw quick-fire cameos from all batters but Aussie youngster Jake Fraser-McGurk and West Indian international Shai Hope scored with 10-ball knocks of 20 and 19, respectively. This victory catapulted Delhi to seventh on the points, from the ninth spot and keeping them alive in the playoff race.
