Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant made an assertive statement after registering a massive six-wicket victory over the Gujarat Titans  at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After bowling first, Delhi managed to bundle out the Titans at a score of 89 which Pant and Co. chased down in just 8.5 overs.

The Capitals saw quick-fire cameos from all batters but Aussie youngster Jake Fraser-McGurk and West Indian international Shai Hope scored with 10-ball knocks of 20 and 19, respectively. This victory catapulted Delhi to seventh on the points, from the ninth spot and keeping them alive in the playoff race.

After the game, in the post-match interview,  Rishabh Pant was asked about being the successful away team to perform in Ahmedabad. Responding to this the Indian gloveman expressed that they enjoy playing in this city and are eyeing a few more matches at this venue.
