The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the squad for Team India’s upcoming T20I & ODI series against Sri Lanka. While there quite a few surprises for a few, it was a shock for a few others as some of the players who have been consistently performing did not make it to the squad.
It was the same for Prithvi Shaw once again. The Thane-born cricketer was once again left out as the BCCI named squad for the two series. Shaw, who has consistently proved himself in domestic cricket, failed to get picked in the T20I series.
Post this announcement, Shaw took to Instagram story to share some words of Gaur Gopal Das. The right-handed batter shared a video message from Gaur Gopal Das. The video had words from Gaur Gopal Das which said, “If someone is smiling it doesn’t mean they are happy in their life. Happiness is never automatic, Problems are automatic.”
“One chooses Positivity, love, and Happiness. Anger, hate, and Negativity come automatically inside human beings. To choose such things (Love, positivity), hence we have become human,” the quote further read.
