Raj Bawa on Saturday created history as he surpassed Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan to become India's highest individual scorer at U-19 World Cup. The fast bowling all-rounder produced a scintillating batting display as he along with Angkrish Raghuvanshi (144) wreaked havoc against Uganda. Bawa scored an unbeaten 162 runs off 108 balls and helped India post a humongous total on board.

Earlier, the record of highest individual score in U-19 WC was held by Shikhar Dhawan who scored 155 runs in the 2004 edition of the tournament against Kenya.

Talking about the game, Raghuvanshi and Bawa added 206 runs for the third wicket as the Indian team scored 405 runs in the innings.

Notably, India have already qualified for the quarterfinals and if they win today, they will finish the group stage as the table-toppers.
