Popular Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt finally got hitched on Thursday. The couple, who were in a relationship for the past 5 years, got married in the presence of their closest friends and family members. Soon after the ceremony, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share the wedding pictures. The actress posted a series of pictures along with a beautiful caption.
She wrote, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married.
With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.
Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special.

Sania Mirza congarulates the couple
Indian tennis star Sania Mirza was the first to comment on Alia's post. Mirza wrote, "Congratulation" with a heart emoji.
Notably, Ranbir and Alia got married in a private ceremony at their home, Vastu. Only close family members and friends were invited. The celebrities, who were part of the wedding were Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor. Navya Naveli and parents Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda were also present at the wedding. Akash and Shloka Ambani were on the list of friends as were Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Akansha Ranjan.
