It was a perfect thriller on the platter for IPL fans as Gujarat Titans beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets in a high-scoring game. Everything was there to watch with both teams putting on a proper show at the Wankhede Stadium. While Umran Malik lit up the stadium with his quick deliveries, it was Rashid Khan who stole the show with his match-winning 31* off 11 balls.
Rahul Tewatia also produced a brilliant inning as he scored 40* off just 21 balls and snatched a win from SRH's claws. The duo of Tewatia and Khan scored 25 runs off the last over to bring the seventh win for Gujarat in IPL 2022. Earlier, while asked to bat first, Sunrisers put on a massive 195 on the board on the back of half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma (65 off 42) and Aiden Markram (56 off 40) and a short cameo from Shashank Singh (25* off 6).
