The second last league match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is underway at the Wankhede Stadium between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC). While the two teams are battling it out in a crunch game (more for Delhi Capitals), there is also a third team that is eagerly waiting for the result of this game.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans and its members have their hopes pinned (for qualification into the playoffs) and are cheering heavily for Mumbai Indians. Social media is full of memes depicting the situation in the RCB camp while an event takes place in the match. The franchise also joined fans and shared a picture of its members with a cheeky caption.

The RCB admin shared a picture of its members sitting together and looking at something (probably watching MI vs DC) with the caption “??? ??????? ?????? ?? ??? ??? ? IYKYK”. All the players and support staff members have their happy faces in the picture.

Have a look at it here:

MI doing it for RCB!

As RCB have all their hopes pinned on MI, the Rohit Sharma-led team has set their foot in the right direction in the first half of the game. Mumbai started things on a high as they got rid of Delhi’s top two performers, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh in the first four overs itself. While Daniel Sams dismissed his countryman Warner, Jasprit Bumrah removed in-form Marsh with a ripper.

Shortly after Marsh, Bumrah also got Shaw with a venomous short ball. Sarfaraz Khan also couldn’t do much as he was caught behind off the bowling of Mayank Markande. However, Rishabh Pant and Rovman Powell stitched a 75-run stand to bring DC back into the game. While Pant perished while trying to up the ante against Ramandeep Singh, Powell was outdone by a deadly yorker from Bumrah. On the back of top effort from their bowlers, Mumbai were able to restrict DC to 159/7.
