India is currently playing their second Super 12 fixture in the T20 World Cup 2022. The Rohit Sharma-led side opted to bat first after winning the toss and posted 179/2 at the end of their 20 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma, along with Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav all scored a half-century to put a strong total on the board.
While Virat Kohli hit his second consecutive half-century today, SKY and Rohit Sharma scored their first in the T20 World Cup 2022. Out of all these 50s, middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav’s 50 was what grabbed a lot of limelight. Although the 32-year-old hit six of the final ball of the India innings, Gautam Gambhir heaped praise on the batter.

Talking about India's performance in the T20 World Cup 2022, the Men in Blue are coming high on confidence after beating arch-rivals Pakistan by 4 wickets in a neck and neck battle. Virat Kohli starred for the side as he posted 82* to propel the side while Ashwin scored the winning runs for the side.
