Real Madrid have had an incredible start to the season despite missing out on their eagerly anticipated transfer of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. Their success has been attributed to Jude Bellingham. However, it appears like Los Blancos are still looking for more players, as new Sky Sports  reports  claim that the Spanish powerhouses have Julian Alvarez, the teenage World Cup champion, in mind as a fallback acquisition for next year's summer transfer window.

The unexpected news of Madrid's star striker and Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema leaving the club for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League marked the start of the club's summer. Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, was tasked with replacing the Frenchman but couldn’t find his perfect number nine.

Now that Real Madrid is searching for a long-term successor for Benzema, reports say they are prepared to push to sign Alvarez. This year, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo have played as split strikers with Bellingham as an advanced midfielder in Ancelotti's favoured 4-4-2 diamond formation.
