Former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting has reportedly bought a lavish home in Melbourne. The mansion is set to be situated in Toorak, one of the costliest suburbs  in Melbourne and if reports are to be believed, the Aussie has bought it worth USD 20 million.

 

As reported by the Australian newspaper The Age, the mansion is said to be spread across 1400 square meters and includes both indoor and outdoor area with a fully modular kitchen. The former skipper of Australia currently resides in a mansion which he bought in 2013 for USD 9.2 million.

 

According to reports, the luxurious mansion was listed at USD 20.6 million but has been sold at a price of USD 20.75 million (INR 114 Crore). The space is also said to have a tennis court and a swimming pool with six bedrooms.

 

Ponting since his retirement in 2012 has got into coaching role. He is also part of the commentary panel in several different tournaments and leagues. He has been the coach of IPL franchise Delhi Capitals since 2018 and  has previously helped Mumbai Indians win the 2015 IPL as head coach.
