The Men in Blue are currently in West Indies gearing for their second match of the World Test Championship 2023-25 Cycle. While the Men in Blue showed a dominating performance in the first Test of the two-match series, courtesy Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 171 off 387 deliveries on Test debut which was also well supported by skipper Rohit Sharma with a 103-run knock.

What was shocking in this latest Test Rankings was Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant dropping out of the top 10 in the Test Batting Rankings. However, he was displaced by the Team India skipper Rohit Sharma, who is coming after registering his 10th Test ton in international cricket.

It is to be noted that Rishabh Pant dropped out of the top 10 Test Batting Rankings for the first time since March 2022. His drop comes after 499 days of being in the top ten. Notably, Jaiswal made his maiden appearance on the list after a remarkable debut in the first Test against West Indies.

Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin continue at helm in Test Rankings

Ravichandran Ashwin, who also etched his name in the history books by becoming the first Indian bowler to take two five-wicket hauls in a Test match on West Indian soil. Ravindra Jadeja (7) and Jasprit Bumrah are the other two Indians in the top 10 of the Test Bowling Rankings.

On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja continues to top the Test All-Rounder Rankings, followed by R Ashwin at second place. Axar Patel is the only India other than them in the top 10, taking the fifth spot.
