Both Bangladesh Legends and New Zealand Legends faced defeat in their opening games and by big margins. Both teams struggled to put up a big total when asked to bat first. While New Zealand Legends bowed down to Johan Botha, Bangladesh Legends could not tackle Krishmar Santokie and Sulieman Benn. Now, as they ready themselves to face each other, it will be interesting to see who blinks first.
The two pitches at Green Park have behaved quite opposite to each other. While batting on one of them has been a tough task, the second one has produced high-scoring games. It is to be seen which pitch will be used for this encounter. Nevertheless, a low-scoring match looks possible considering how the two teams have struggled against spin.
New Zealand Legends
New Zealand Legends have got some really good batters in Ross Taylor, Anton Devcich, and Dean Brownlie. They also have a potent pace attack with Shane Bond and Hamish Benett in the mix. However, the middle order seems a bit fragile. If New Zealand Legends are to stay alive in this competition, they must win the match against Bangladesh Legends. Ross Taylor will look to lead the way for his team and put up a good fight in the middle.

Shahadat Hossain-led Bangladesh Legends failed to put up a fight against West Indies Legends in their first game. They were bowled out for only 98 runs and conceded it in 15.2 runs. None of the BAN-L batters could put up a fight. Dhiman Ghosh (22) and Alok Kapali (19) did spend some time in the middle but that was never enough. In bowling as well, none of their bowlers looked threatening. Abdur Razzak, Dolar Mahmud, and Alok Kapali took a wicket each but West Indies Legends looked comfortable in their chase. Now, Bangladesh Legends will be up against New Zealand Legends which will pose a different kind of a challenge to them. They need to win somehow.

New Zealand Legends might have faced a crushing defeat against South Africa Legends, but they have a good team that can win the match against Bangladesh Legends.
