Poland and FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski’s wife, Anna Lewandowska recently talked about receiving and turning down a massive offer from Polish MMA promotion Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki. The former Bayern Munich forward lit up La Liga and took home the Golden Boot Award with a tally of  23 goals in 34 league appearances.



Coming back to this his wife, Anna Lewandowska has been a nutritionist, personal trainer, TV presenter and competed as a top karate fighter winning three World Championships and six European Championships. Thanks to this background, Anna recently revealed that she received an offer from former Poland international and owner of KSW, Slawomir Peszko, to once again take up fighting.


Speaking on the podcast WojewodzkiKedzierski, she stated “I had a coffee with Slawomir Peszko, and he told me to try something new. He calculated that it was two years of preparation. I told him that I wanted to discuss it with my husband first.” Anna Lewandowska then expressed how the news broke out in the media which even lead her husband Robert Lewandowski to ask her about it. 



She said, “I left the meeting and after an hour this information appeared in the media. My husband heard about it in the press and asked me, 'Anna, what are you doing, what are those articles?'" Anna also revealed that if she wasn’t Robert’s wife, she would have taken the opportunity. "I once told Robert that if I wasn't his wife, I would probably take part in such an event," she added.


The co-owner of the Polish MMA promotion, Julita Gorska doesn’t want to lose hope of convincing her. While she said, "To bring new names into this world, I have always aimed high. We dream of Lewandowski's wife, Anna. She has already his background, and karate experience, so why not? We'll see, everything is in front of us."
