India's newly appointed skipper Rohit Sharma is having a great time leading the side. Since his appointment, he has won all the games against West Indies and Sri Lanka. While many off-the-field controversies surrounded Sharma's appointment, many cricket pundits backed MI skipper for his quality of leading his side to titles, which Kohli missed.

Having won five IPL titles spoke volumes of his captaincy skills, and many reiterated that Sharma is the apt pick considering a couple of ICC tournaments right at the door. While Sharma and Kohli have exhibited healthy relationships on and off the field, their fan base often found themselves debating over one's superiority.

Taking the legacy forward, two kids who were watching the 2nd Test between India and Sri Lanka at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru were seen holding a poster that read, "'Rohit Not My Captain', 'Reinstate Kohli.' The picture of both the kids holding the poster was clicked and shared by their dad, who posted the photo on social media with the caption, "My sons at Chinnaswamy stadium yesterday... #rohitisnotmycaptain reinstate #ViratKohli?."

While, both the stalwarts of the game are enjoying their time on the field, things began to heat up on Twitter as the poster gained traction among the Sharma-Kohli fan base.

Amidst the never-ending rivalry between fans of the game's greats, both the players often share a great time while representing the nation. The same was evident recently when Kohli was playing his 100th Test match in Mohali. The teammates gave Kohli a guard of honour before he stepped on the field.
