Rohit Sharma is going through a tough time currently, failing to score runs. He has struggled in the tournament with just one half-century in ten innings. He has scored just 184 runs at an average of 18.40 and strike rate of 126.89. The MI skipper was dismissed for two consecutive ducks in his last two matches which were against Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings, respectively.

Seeing the India skipper’s dismal outing in the ongoing edition, former India cricketer Virender Sehwag has made a big statement. He claimed that Sharma is battling with himself not with the bowlers, calling it a mental block. “Rohit Sharma is not battling with the bowlers but with himself. There is a mental block. There's no problem with his batting technique. Some confusion is going on in his mind,” Sehwag. He also said that Rohit Sharma will make up for all the previous matches when he solves this issue.

Mumbai Indians are having an unpredictable campaign in this year’s IPL. They are struggling at the bottom of the points table at the eighth position. They have lost five games and won the same number of games in their ten games. They have an inexperienced bowling lineup and Rohit Sharma’s bad form has added to their miseries.
