Mumbai Indians’ former captain Rohit Sharma is reportedly not happy with the captaincy of Hardik Pandya in the IPL 2024. According to the reports, the veteran batter will leave the Mumbai Indians after the completion of the season. Notably, Sharma led the side to their five trophies in his term spanning over a decade. Ahead of the IPL 2024, the current India captain was replaced by former Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya as the captain of the Neeta Ambani-owned franchise.
Pandya got on fans’ radars after he replaced Mumbai’s long-standing captain following a trade from the Titans ahead of the auction. Fans left no chance to launch verbal attacks on the India all-rounder, even during MI’s IPL 2024 fixtures. Things seemed to have got worse as Pandya hasn’t been able to win any of their games as the captain thus far.
