Ronaldo Nazário on Monday (October 3) unveiled the trailer of his documentary "Phenomenon: The Rise, Fall & Redemption" on social media. The documentary will encompass Ronaldo's illustrious career and witness feature interviews of former teammates as well.

Fondly known as R9, Ronaldo played for European clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter and Milan. However, his career was hampered by multiple injury concerns. 'El Fenomeno' sustained a horrific knee injury in 2000 while returning after a long injury break. In one of the amazing comebacks, he scored eight goals to help Brazil secure World Cup glory in 2002. The celebrated footballer hung his boots in 2011.

In total, he won three FIFA World Player of the Year awards, while becoming the youngest player at an age of 20 to collect the first of them. Furthermore, at an age of 21, Ronaldo scripted history by becoming the youngest recipient of the Ballon d’Or award. The likes of Christian Vieri, Paolo Maldini, Zinedine Zidane, Diego Simeone and Roberto Carlos feature in the short clip shared by the Brazilian footballer.

At the end of the video, Ronaldo and Carlos are seen talking about their experience ahead of the 1998 World Cup final against France. Ronaldo was initially absent from Brazil‘s starting XI due to convulsive fit in his hotel room but was reinstated ahead of the clash. However, Brazil lost the game 0-3 to France.
