Th e SA20 2023 final between Pretoria Capitals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape has been postponed to February 12 (Sunday), because of water logging issues at the Wanderers Stadium. The final was initially scheduled to be played on February 11 in Johannesburg but now will be shifted to reverse day.

The game will kick off at 13:30 hours local time on the reserve day. The decision was confirmed via a press release by the SA20 which cited persistent rainfall in Johannesburg for the last few days. The statement also confirmed that the forecast for Sunday is better.

The SA20 media release said, "The ground preparation for the match has been compromised, with the pitch remaining under covers for three days and over 200ml of rain falling since Wednesday this week. The SA Weather Service has predicted more showers for the remainder of Saturday, with a clearer outlook predicted for Sunday."
