Sachin Tendulkar hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who had earlier tested positive for COVID-19, has now been hospitalised. Sachin himself took to social media to share the information. "I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone," he wrote. The 47-year-old recently led India Legends to victory in the Road Safety World Series. However, several participants of that T20 competition including Tendulkar, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan and Subramaniam Badrinath have tested positive for COVID-19, hinting a possible violation of the COVID-19 norms in the bio-bubble make up.

Under medical advice, I have been hospitalised: Sachin

Sachin announced that as a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, he has been hospitalised. He also took the opportunity to thank the fans for their prayers and wishes also wishing them on the 10-year anniversary of the 2011 World Cup win. Despite being hospitalised, Sachin remained optimistic of his quick recovery.

Road Safety World Series Season 2 may happen by end of this year

Meanwhile, it is being reported that the second season of the Road Safety World Series might happen by the end of this year. India Legends and Sri Lanka Legends had reached the finals of the inaugural season with the Tendulkar led India side emerging as the champions.
