Sachin Tendulkar tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday. The cricket great who recently featured in Road Safety World Series, led India Legends to lift the inaugural edition of the tournament. Legendary India cricketer took to Twitter to confirm the news. Sachin has ‘mild symptoms’ and has been advised to quarantine at home by the doctors.

“I’ve quarantined myself at home and following all necessary protocols,” quoted Sachin. Meanwhile, other family members have returned negative for the test.

Widely regarded as the ‘God of Cricket’, Sachin Tendulkar has represented India from 1989 to 2013. Even after retiring from all formats of the game, Tendulkar holds the record of most runs in ODIs and Tests. He also is the only cricketer to play 200 games in the longest format.
