Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson played a brilliant 86 in 46 balls but the way he was dismissed created a massive controversy during the game against Delhi Capitals. After batting first DC posted a massive 221-run total on the back of quality knocks from Jake Fraser McGurk and Tristan Stubbs.
Then chasing this total, RR lost quick wickets but Sanju Samson held one end up and built partnerships with Riyan Parag and Shubham Dubey to keep the 2008 champs in the hunt. Then in the 16th over of the game, Samson smashed Mukesh down the ground which was caught by Shai Hope right on the edge of the boundary. This catch created a lot of controversy and led to a massive uproar on social media.
