Ahead of India's departure for England, BCCI have released a candid video which gives insights to the Indian cricket team's preparation for the tour. While a footage of men's training sessions went viral yesterday, the video posted on Wednesday gave the fans a glimpse of how Women in Blue are preparing for their much-anticipated tour of England. Notably, Mithali Raj's side will be playing a historic one-off Test against England after a gap of 7 years, followed by limited-overs series.

The legendary duo speaks ahead of UK tour

The young sensation Jemimah Rodrigues gave the fans a tour of the gym facility of the team. In a conversation with team's strength and conditioning coach, R Naresh opined that the players are training very hard and since they have spent a lot of quality time ahead of the tour, the players are ready and raring to go once they get on the field.

The youngster also talked to the Indian legendary duo of Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami. While talking about the prospect of playing Test cricket after so long, the Indian skipper admitted that she is really thrilled and excited to lead a young-looking side once again in the Whites.

On the other hand, Jhulan Goswami also had a fun chat with the youngster. Reflecting on Jemimah's statement about the pacer spending so much time in the gym, the 38-year-old explained what keeps her motivated in the twilight of her career. "When you are representing your country, you want to do extra, toy want to do more for your team," stated the fast-bowler.

Meet the new rapper in the Indian team

While it was certainly an extremely fun and engaging video, it was the conclusion that left the fans in surprise. Jemimah told the viewers that they have a new rapper in the team in the form of young wicketkeeper Indrani Roy. While it looked like Jemimah was pulling her leg, it was actually not the case. The 23-year-old stunned everyone with her rap which had some heart-touching lyrics. Watch Here

The lyrics of the rap went like, "Bheedh Bheedh se nahi, bheedh mein main nahi, daldal vale raston mei chalta nahi, jo bhi hu value karu, aatmvishwaas mera guroor, mehnat ki kamayi, mehnat se karu, seedha rasta chunu, sau baar main giru toh har baar main uthu, sar jhukne ka sochna kabhi na rakhu, lambi daur ka main ghodha, mere khoon mein junoon, chote chote kadam se, har seedhi main chadhu, har seedhi main chadhu."

In short, the rap reflected the story of a young girl like her. Hailing from Jharkhand, Roy paved her way through all the societal myths to pursue cricket as a career. The lyrics explain that it's her self-belief which is her biggest strength and no matter how many times she fails, she will get up and chase her dreams once again and go onwards and upwards in life.
