Expectations are high from Monégasque racing driver Charles Leclerc, who will be defending his title at the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix, set to be held from May 23 to 25. Prior to the marquee event, Ferrari has unveiled its new suit for the race. Leclerc, who attained the top spot in the previous edition of the Monaco Grand Prix, will want the new jersey to be lucky as he is looking to conquer the same streets again this season. In the 2025 Emilia-Romagna GP, Leclerc achieved the sixth spot after facing the first defeat against his Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton, who secured the fourth place.

Taking to their X handle Scuderia Ferrari HP, Leclerc's team wrote, “New suit. Same streets.” Ferrari’s new suit is of scintillating white colour with its sponsors labelled on it. Leclerc, who looked disheartened after his performance at the 2025 Emilia-Romagna GP, will look to make a solid comeback in the upcoming event. This season, he is 85 points behind Australian racing driver Oscar Piastri, who has amassed 146 points and is leading the championship race. He has achieved the podium finish only once this season.

Charles Leclerc expecting a tough challenge in the upcoming weekend

Leclerc feels it won't be easy for him to replicate his previous Monaco GP performance in the much-awaited weekend race as he is expecting a stiff challenge. Replying to the question from the media about his expectations in the crucial challenge waiting ahead, he said, “A very difficult weekend. I think Monaco is exposing quite a few weaknesses of our car, so I don't know, but there are also many things that you cannot really expect.”

He also added, "The amount of risk you take in qualifying, the car is set up in a very different way, so I hope we will be surprised.” Both Leclerc and Hamilton will strive to show their best for Ferrari but the former will look to deliver fierce competition to the latter following the British racer’s recent success against the Monegasque.
