On Monday, Serena Williams announced to the media that she is expecting her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian. She told reporters at the Met Gala in New York, which she attended along with her husband Alexis Ohanian that there were "three of us" on the red carpet. In October 2017, the couple welcomed Olympia, their first child.
The tennis legend also took to Instagram to announce the upcoming arrival of her second child. She captioned the post, “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.” The 23-tim Grand Slam winner aced in a black dress matching her husband’s tuxedo.
She was joined by a friend at the Met Gala, none other than 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer who was attending as a co-chair of the event. In commemoration of the late Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, this year's Met Gala had the subject "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" and served as a fundraiser for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
