Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is undoubtedly not having a great time in the cricket field this season . Rohit-led Team India is on the verge of elimination from the T20 Asia Cup 2022. The continental tournament was being looked at as a crucial stage for the team to test its capabilities ahead of the T20 World Cup.
However, back-to-back defeats in the Super-4 stage has pushed the Men in Blue in a tight situation where they will have to rely on other's results as well. Despite being undefeated in the league stage, Rohit Sharma & boys could not repeat similar performance in the advanced stage of the tournament and were left shocked by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Team India were defeated by Dasun Shanaka-led side by 6-wickest on Tuesday evening.
Post-match, Indian skipper felt the heat of the moment as several Indian cricket fans blamed him for being too arrogant during the second innings of the match and not respecting his young teammates. In one of the videos which is doing the rounds on social media, Rohit can be seen ignoring Arshdeep Singh while the latter approached his captain with a suggestion for field change.
Notably, Arshdeep Singh was once again trusted with the responsibility to defend 7 runs in the last over. The Indian cricket fans were left shocked and anguished looking at Rohit's behaviour to Arshdeep Singh and they slammed him.
