Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik was accused of cheating months after he divorced Indian tennis icon Sania Mirza and married Pakistan actress Sana Javed. Earlier this year, Malik dropped a bombshell on fans when he announced his third wedding with Pakistani actress Sana Javed by dropping pictures on his social media handles. A few months later, another Pakistan actress Nawal Saeed revealed that she received flirty messages from Pakistan cricketers.
While she didn’t take any names, Saeed indirectly hinted at Shoaib Malik. The 25-year-old appeared on the chat show Life Green Hai, where she shared that she has been receiving messages on her Instagram. During the conversation, the actress revealed that the texts were from married Pakistani cricketers. When the hosts asked if the texts were from Shoaib Malik, she laughed and said she had forgotten the cricketer's name.
Nawal said, “Mujhe sirf ye lagta hai ki cricketers should not be doing that. Actors se zyada log cricketers ko idolise karte hai (I feel that cricketers should not do that. People idolise cricketers more than they idolise actors.”) Notably, the former Pakistan captain and Javed dropped a bomb on their fans when they announced their wedding on January 20, 2024. The couple shared pictures from their nikah ceremony.
The cricketer was earlier married to the former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, and the Indo-Pak couple tied the knot in 2010 in Hyderabad. It was followed by a Walima ceremony in Sialkot, Pakistan. Later in 2018, the couple welcomed their firstborn, son Izhaan Mirza Malik. The rumours of difficulties in their marriage first sparked in 2022.
