Tea m India’s young opener Shubman Gill was pictured having dinner with Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan at a restaurant in Dubai. Although there is no confirmation about any relationship, Shubman and Sara seen together in a restaurant, added to speculations on Gill’s new relationship.

Reportedly, Gill was earlier in a relationship with Sara Tendulkar. In a video that went viral on the internet, both Sara and Shubman were seen together on a dinner date in a Dubai restaurant. This clip surfaced after Shubman’s impressive run with the Men in Blue in West Indies and Zimbabwe series.

Gill is currently relieved from national duties as he was not picked for the ongoing Asia Cup while Sara is often seen in Dubai for her promotions. If the rumours and speculation turn true, Gill and Sara's relationship could be another high-profile affair in the lineage of Bollywood and cricket.

Similarly, Shubman Gill is set to sign with the County Championship side Glamorgan for the remainder of the 2022 season. But Gill’s stint in England is subject to visa clearance. Gill will be the third Indian to play for Glamorgan in the County Championship after former player and coach Ravi Shastri, who played for four years between 1987 and 1991 and Sourav Ganguly in 2005.

Gill has played 11 Test matches where he has scored 579 runs at an average of 30.47. His last five-day fixture was the fifth Test against England in Birmingham in July this year where he managed to score 17 and 4 while the Indian team lost. He has also played in 12 first-class matches for his home team Punjab in the Ranji Trophy, where he has put up 1176 runs at an average of 65.33.

Talking about the Zimbabwe tour, the Gujarat Titans batter won the Player of the series for his impressive 245 runs at an average of 122.50 and garnered praise from the India captain KL Rahul as he said, “He's been batting well since the IPL. Very pleasing to the eye. Not seen him over-confident. That requires composure, to show that kind of temperament is good.”
