Cyclone Tauktae wreaked havoc on Monday and Mumbai was also at the receiving end of the disaster as the heavy winds of it devastated almost everything coming on its way. From damaging the house of film actor Amitabh Bachchan to Wankhede Stadium, the mighty cyclone has made life miserable in the city in the past 12 hours, along with other western areas.

Notably, the sightscreen towards the North Stand of Wankhede Stadium, the batsmen's paradise, couldn't withstand powerful winds of Tauktae and got fallen. The Mumbai Cricket Association informed about the same and revealed that they would get it erected with the use of ropes. Meanwhile, they clarified that such an incident has happened before as well, as the sightscreen had also fallen during the 2011 World Cup.

Post the damage in Wankhede, pictures of its sightscreen fallen on the ground is now doing rounds on internet with fans and social media users sharing the pictures.
