Skyesports, the leading esports tournament organizer in India, is hosting the PNC 2023 Qualifiers for Indian PC gamers, offering them an opportunity to showcase their skills on a prominent stage. The PNC is a globally recognized PC gaming tournament, and the upcoming 2023 edition will take place in Seoul, South Korea. Sixteen of the world's top PC squads will gather in Seoul to compete for a share of the impressive $300,000 prize pool.
The PNC 2023 Qualifiers will follow an open-for-all format, divided into multiple stages, ensuring that every gamer has a chance to pursue a professional career. Alongside the chance to represent their country for the first time at the PNC 2023, participants will be vying for a massive prize pool of INR 20,00,000.
What is the tournament format?
Registration for the PNC 2023 Qualifiers is currently open on the official website until July 19. However, with only 64 available slots in the event, it is advisable to register promptly. The Qualifiers will be conducted in three phases as outlined below:
Quarterfinals: The 64 teams will be divided into four groups of 16. Each group will play four matches, and the top six teams from each group will advance to the next stage.
Semifinals: The remaining 24 teams will be split into three groups of eight. These groups will engage in a round-robin format, with each team playing 12 matches. Only the top 16 teams from this stage will progress to the Grand Finale.
Grand Finals: The Grand Finals will span three days and feature a total of 18 matches, with six matches taking place each day. The outcome of these matches will determine the ultimate champions of the tournament.
