Gujarat Titans youngster Robin Minz was involved in a bike accident days before the start of the 2024 Indian Premier League season. Minz is considered one of the exciting talents coming into the league. As Gujarat Titans completed this signing, Robin Minz will become the first tribal cricket to be part of the IPL.
Minz met with an accident on Saturday and since then the 21-year-old has been under observation. Minz was riding his Kawasaki superbike when contact with another bike and lost control. Robin's father Francis Minz confirmed that Robin had just minor “bruises." The front half of his motorcycle was severely damaged after the accident and Robin had some bruises on his right knee.

Speaking to New 18, Francis Minz said, "He lost control when his bike came in contact with another bike. Nothing serious at the moment and he is currently under observation." The Jharkhand star was set to join Gujarat Titans for IPL 2024 but no information about his arrival for GT's pre-season camp has been revealed.
Minz is originally from Gumla district in Jharkhand and was selected by Mumbai Indians for an international training camp in the United Kingdom in August 2023. The 21-year-old is known for his big-hitting ability and scored a brilliant 137 against Karnataka in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy quarter-final . In the mock IPL auction, Minz was described as Jharkhand's 'left-handed Kieron Pollard' by former India international Robin Uthappa.
